Together with Sebastian Dahm of EC-KAC, Tomas Sholl is league’s goalie with the second-most time on ice, as the US-American played 33 games for HC Pustertal and total of 1,991 minutes and 32 seconds. His save percentage is an outstanding 92.1% and the GAA amounts to 2.74. Before he moved to Bruneck, the 27-year-old already completed half a season in Slovakia with HC Detva.

Patrick Bona, Sports Director of the Wolves explains: "Already in the summer of 2021, we were pretty sure that we had signed the right goalie. We also consider the contract extension with Sholl as an important step for the further planning of the next season."

"I couldn't be more excited to be coming back to Bruneck for another season. From the moment we got here we have felt welcomed by the players, staff and the city. Our management's commitment to success and to growing Pustertal field hockey is clear and I am grateful for the confidence they have in my play now and into the next season. For now, I'm focused on continuing our push into the playoffs but I am truly excited for another year in front of such fantastic fans in the best arena in the league”, says Tomas Sholl.

The sporting management of HC Pustertal is already continuing to work on the squad for next season, he added. As a newcomer and the smallest site in the league, they want to proceed in a particularly sustainable and continuous manner.
