On Sunday, the top-4 of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League hit home ice each. While leader spusu Vienna Capitals host Hydro Fehérvár AV19, second ranked Black Wings 1992 face EC Grand Immo VSV in the PULS 24 live game. Further the HC TWK Innsbruck “Die Haie” play newcomer iClinic Bratislava Capitals, the EC-KAC welcomes the Moser Medical Graz99ers. And in Dornbirn it looks like having a goaltending battle of Thomas Höneckl (DEC) and Justin Fazio (HCB), after both delivered a huge save percentage Friday night.

  • The fourth round in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League will open with the game Black Wings 1992 against EC Grand Immo VSV - and will also be shown live on PULS 24.
  • After two wins at the season opener, BWI suffered its first defeat (3:5) on Friday in Vienna, losing the first position in standings. VSV is on eleventh place, has lost the first two games.

  • The two teams have faced each other 34 times so far, Dornbirn has won 20 of them.
  • The game promises to be exciting: exactly half of all previous games (17) ended with only one goal difference, ten were decided via overtime or shootout.
  • DEC-Goalie Thomas Höneckl made his season debut on Friday against his former team Graz and convinced with a save-percentage of 96.8. At the HCB, the actual back-up was also playing on Friday: Justin Fazio impressed too, fending off 96.7% of the shots at his goal.
  • While DEC had not yet scored on a powerplay occasion in three games (14 times PP), HCB scored in three of its four PP situations on Friday.

  • A road trip will take the iClinic Bratislava Capitals on Sunday, after they compete at EC Red Bull Salzburg on Saturday evening (live stream), to the HC TWK Innsbruck "Die Haie".
  • After the two opening successes, the Tyroleans suffered a clear 1:6 defeat against the HCB on Friday, but remained in the top group of the table (fourth place). Bratislava lost its only ICE game so far.
  • Both teams have revealed weaknesses in one man down: HCI had to take five goals in 17 box plays (70.6%), Bratislava two out of four.
  • On powerplay too, both teams have not yet been able to convince completely.

  • After two wins in a row - but both away - the EC-KAC hosts the Moser Medical Graz99ers. The Styrians have lost their last two games.
