Referees: HOLZER, MOSCHEN, Martin, Wiest.
Feldkirch got off a perfect start when new arrival Stefan Steurer opened the scoring after four minutes - it was their 100th goal this season. The hosts were in the driving seat and Christoph Draschkowitz (14') doubled the score. Feldkirch could not feel safe, though, as they lost the first home game against Kitzbühel 2:3. However, the 1.000 fans in Feldkirch still saw a dominant home side, they only struggled on power play. After wasting four chances with a man advantage, Draschkowitz broke this spell after 33 minutes. Soon later Dylan Stanley made the preliminary decision when he added a fourth. Kitzbühel became stronger in the third but VEU goalie Alex Caffi kept a clean sheet. With their fourth successive win, Feldkirch is still close to the top 4.

Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 vs. HC Pustertal 4:7 (2:0; 1:4; 1:3)
Referees: BAJT, FAJDIGA, P. Giacomozzi, D. Mantovani.
Asiago reshuffled the attack lines for this big-match against Pustertal. Only Jose Magnabosco was absent. The visitors complained of the absence of Thomas Erlacher. The start was certainly in favour of the yellow-reds team. Asiago passed in advantage after 3 minutes. Alex Gellert recovered a puck and then he shot towards the goal of the opponents where Anthony Bardaro managed to deflect at the crossbars. Asiago was not satisfied as they doubled at the first powerplay of the match with Mark Naclerio (6 '). In the second half everything happened and more. The first part of the time was fast and dynamic. Then, minute after minute, the Wolves reorganized and halved the disadvantage with Tommaso Traversa. Halfway through the game, an episode occurred that ignited the game. Phil Pietroniro took a match penalty for charging the head to Marko Virtala who left the rink for medical treatment. From this moment the penalties followed one another and affected the course of the game. In 21 seconds, the visitors overturned the score with Teemu Virtala (double powerplay) and Max Oberrauch (powerplay/rebound). But now the game was a concentrate of emotions. Anthony Bardaro served Michele Marchetti who scored 3:3 (36'). After a while Brunico took the lead again (Gander). The third half was also full of emotions. After just 53 seconds Alex Gellert drew in powerplay. But another episode put the Wolves back in the lead: Casetti deflected in the net a shot by David Laner (48'). After only 42 seconds Raphael Andergassen scored the sixth goal after a mistake by Cloutier. Then well in advance the Asiago left his goalkeeper and Raphael Andergassen fixed the score for 7:4 for Bruneck who won an authentic battle and inflicted the first defeat for Asiago at home at the end of the regular time.

Referees: F. Giacomozzi, A. LAZZERI, De Zordo, Piras.
First game of the year of the Cortina at the Olimpico. Four absences were for Renon: besides the injured Kevin Fink and the sick Alex Frei, there were also those of Simon Kostner and Dan Tudin. The first minutes of the game were all in favor of the visitors. Then, minute after minute, the home team played a good hockey and puts pressure on Tragust's side in a very interesting match from a technical and tactical point of view and very balanced (without goals in the first period). In the second half the Cortina started off with a long attack to the net of the visitors. Then, at the first opportunity, Thomas Spinell found the right way and scored the first goal. The Cortina didn’t give up. After many efforts, Devin Diomete scored the tie in the middle. In the third half, neither team managed to get the better of its opponents in a game with a sustained pace and well played on both sides of the field and with some more penalties than in the first two period. At the overtime more opportunities for the Cortina until the victory of Ritten on shootout with the decisive one of Andreas Lutz. The Rittner Buam earned the sixth consecutive victory. This was also the first time that the Ritten has gone beyond regular times in the season.

Goals RIT: 0:1 Thomas Spinell (22:53/Lutz-J.Kostner); 1:2 Andreas Lutz (65:00/SO)
HC Fassa Falcons vs. Hockey Milano Rossoblu 2:6 (1:1; 0:2; 1:3)
Referees: BENVEGNU, PINIE, Cristeli, Rigoni.
First game of the new year of Fassa at home. The Falcons found Elias Thum but had to give up Dennis Kustatscher and Martin Castlunger (both sick) and the injured Massimo Zanet, Hannes Oberrauch. The Milan team got off to a good start and scored after three minutes in powerplay thanks to Andrea Schina's shot from the blue. Then Fassa reorganized and found the draw with Diego Iori at the end of an insisted action. The game in the second half was fought but Milan proved to be more concrete under the net. The protagonist was Marcello Borghi who first took the lead again (24') and then made the 3:1 before the end of the central period. In the third half Fassa returned to the game with Marco Marzolini in powerplay after 50 minutes of play. But Milan re-established the distance, shortly after, with the goal of Simone Asinelli who actually closed the game. From this moment on, Fassa no longer has the strength to threaten Milan, which, on the other hand, has secured the result in the last two minutes of the game. First Marcello Borghi (hatrick with an empty goal) and then Tommaso Terzago (in powerplay) fixed the score at 6:2 for the guests. After this defeat, Fassa fell in the last place of standing.
