win2day ICE Hockey League:
Fri, 07.10.2022, 19:15: EC Red Bull Salzburg - HCB Südtirol Alperia
Referees: RENCZ, SOOS, Kis-Kiraly, Nothegger | >> LIVE.ICE.HOCKEY (PPV) <<
In the top game of the round, leaders Salzburg, who suffered a bitter 1:0 home defeat to Fribourg in the Champions Hockey League on Wednesday, will face rivals Bolzano. Both teams conceded their first league defeat only last Sunday - before that they had full points. While the Red Bulls currently have the best offence with 21 goals, the South Tyroleans conceded the fewest goals by far (seven). Since Bolzano entered the league, the two teams have faced each other 61 times, with the Red Bulls retaining the upper hand 33 times. For Salzburg defender Dennis Robertson, it is the first meeting with former club Bolzano. The South Tyroleans will be hoping for the return of Angelo Miceli to the lineup, Diego Glück and Matt Frattin will be missing. On Salzburg's side, Lukas Schreier, Ty Loney and Troy Bourke are out, while league MVP Peter Schneider's appearance is questionable.
Fri, 07.10.2022, 19:15: Hydro Fehervar AV 19 - Moser Medical Graz99ers
Referees: GROZNIK, PIRAGIC, Durmis, Jedlicka | >> LIVE.ICE.HOCKEY (PPV) <<
Féhérvar celebrated their first win in the Champions Hockey League on Tuesday in Katowice, Poland. Now it's on to the league for the Hungarians with a home game against Graz. Head coach Kevin Constantine's team has three wins and three losses after six ICE games - most recently, the Hungarians lost to Olimpija for the second time. The 99ers, on the other hand, recorded their second win of the season in Villach, taking six points from three away games so far. In Székesfehérvár, the Graz side has 16 wins in 38 encounters. Ken Ograjensek, Petr Kolouch, Gustav Bouramman and Erik Kirchschläger are not available for the 99ers.
Fri, 07.10.2022, 19:15: Steinbach Black Wings Linz - HC Pustertal
Referees: FICHTNER, HRONSKY, Bärnthaler, Konc | >> LIVE.ICE.HOCKEY (PPV) <<
While the Black Wings had a good start to the season with four wins from six games, Pustertal are at the bottom of the table with only one win from five matches. With three wins and three defeats respectively, the last games in particular could not be more contrasting. The two teams have already faced each other once this season, on 24 September the Linz team celebrated a 5:2 victory in Bruneck. Last season, the Upper Austrians won both home games against Pustertal by a one-goal margin. The Linzers have to do without Shawn St-Amant, Rasmus Tirronen and Daine Todd. In return, Marc-Andre Dorion celebrates his comeback in the ICE team. Due to the tight personnel situation, the defenceman, who actually plays for the Steel Wings in the Alps Hockey League, is helping out.
Fri, 07.10.2022, 19:30: spusu Vienna Capitals - EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV
Referees: NAGY, SMETANA, Gatol-Schafranek, Weiss | >> LIVE ON PULS24 <<
After the CHL clash against the Straubing Tigers, where VSV suffered a narrow defeat after a strong performance, the Blue and Whites continue in the league with two away games (in Vienna and Székesfehérvár) within 24 hours. After the Capitals never scored more than two goals in the first four games of the season, they scored five in their second win of the season against Pustertal (5:2). The Viennese have won two of their four home games so far and, like the Carinthians, have six points from five games. The Villach team left Vienna as winners in their last four encounters. VSV head coach Rob Daum still has to do without convalescent Julian Payr, Marco Richter who is ill and Dominik Grafenthin (upper body injury). Therefore, youngster Elias Wallenta will join the line with Andrew Desjardins and Blaz Tomazevic. For the Caps, the recently injured Christof Kromp and Yannic Pilloni are fit again and return to the line-up, as does Rafael Rotter, who has served his suspension.
Fri, 07.10.2022, 19:30: BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg - HK SZ Olimpija
Referees: BERNEKER, ZRNIC, Martin, Zgonc | >> LIVE.ICE.HOCKEY (PPV) <<
While things have not yet gone according to plan for the Pioneers Vorarlberg away from home (no point from four games), the league newcomers have already picked up seven points from three home games. Most recently, the Pioneers inflicted their first defeat of the season on second-placed Bolzano. Their next opponents from Ljubljana were in CHL action on Wednesday, losing 3:1 at home to EV Zug. In the league, the Slovenians won three of their five games so far - by the way, they took the lead in all of them. Olimpija's next match is on Saturday in Innsbruck.
Fri, 07.10.2022, 19:45: Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey - HC TIWAG Innsbruck
Referees: OFNER, TRILAR, Basso, Pardatscher | >> LIVE.ICE.HOCKEY (PPV) <<
After the opening win in Graz, Asiago suffered four defeats in a row. In these matches, the Italians always conceded five goals, they also have the second-weakest defence behind the Pioneers - who have played two games more. On the offensive side, the league newcomers can rely above all on Nick Saracino, who leads the scoring list with five goals. In the first duel of the season with Innsbruck, he gave Asiago the lead, but in the end the Tyroleans won 5:1. The Sharks started the new season with three wins, but recently conceded defeats in Bolzano and against Linz. Due to suspensions, HCI will have to do without defender Simon Bourque and forward Daniel Leavens.
Sat, 08.10.2022, 17:30: Hydro Fehervar AV 19 - EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV
Referees: HRONSKY, SIEGEL, Durmis, Riecken | >> LIVE.ICE.HOCKEY (PPV) <<
Féhérvar and VSV last faced each other in the 2022 playoffs, when the Hungarians won the series 4:1 to advance to the final. In total, the runners-up have won their past five home games against the Villach side - the Carinthians' last success dating back to 3 December 2020, when Chris Collins scored in the final minutes to make it 2:1.
Sat, 08.10.2022, 19:15: HC TIWAG Innsbruck - HK SZ Olimpija
Referees: STERNAT, ZRNIC, Sparer, Zgonc | >> LIVE.ICE.HOCKEY (PPV) <<
There is also no long breather for Innsbruck and Ljubljana. The Tyroleans won all four duels last season. However, three games were decided by only one goal difference.
