Jesenice are currently in excellent form. After losing their season opener against Sisak, the Slovenian side have won their last five games, all in regulation time. As a result, they sit just one point behind league leaders Asiago with a game in hand. On Saturday, Jesenice will host S.G. Cortina Hafro, who have struggled to find their rhythm so far this season. The Italian side have managed just one win in five games, which came in overtime.

South Tyrolean Top Clash Between Merano and Ritten
One of Saturday's highlights will be the clash between HC Merano Pircher and Rittner Buam SkyAlps. Ritten currently sit second in the standings, with fourth-placed Merano just one point behind. Both teams are therefore among the closest challengers to league leaders Asiago. Merano also enter the game in excellent form, having won their last four consecutive games.

Asiago Aim to Defend League Lead
League leaders HC Migross Asiago will face KHL Sisak on Saturday. The Italian side have won their last four games, although two of those victories came in overtime or a shootout. Despite sitting at the top of the standings, Asiago hold only a narrow advantage over their closest challengers, especially as they have already played one more game than some of their rivals.

Zell am See Target Fifth Consecutive Win
EK Zeller Eisbären have also been in impressive form recently. Four consecutive victories have lifted the Austrian side to fifth place in the standings. On Saturday, they will visit the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers, whose recent results tell a very different story. After winning their season opener, the South Tyrolean side have suffered five consecutive defeats.

Neighbouring Teams Clash in Salzburg
The Red Bull Hockey Juniors will host Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel on Saturday. Salzburg recently ended their three-game losing streak with a victory over Cortina. They will now face Kitzbühel, who sit directly alongside them in the standings. The Tyrolean side have alternated between wins and losses in their recent games.

Gherdeina and Klagenfurt Looking for Points
In the lower part of the standings, HC Gherdeina valgardena.it will face the EC-KAC Future Team. Both teams currently have three points and will be looking to close the gap to the teams in mid-table with a victory.
