Eight games are on the schedule in the Alps Hockey League this weekend. The top-teams - Leader HC Pustertal Wolves, EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau and Champion Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 – will play on the road on Saturday.

HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice has been convincing at home so far! The „Red Steelers“ have won all three home-games and were on fire as well: Miha Brus and Co. have already netted 18 goals in their own building this season. On Saturday, the Slovenes will welcome EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel. The Tyroleans have had problems on the road so far: The „Eagles“ have been defeated in all three road-games and have allowed 16 goals. Each team faced EC-KAC II in their last match and has earned three points too. HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice has been successful in six straight meetings with EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel.

Bottom club Hockey Milano Rossoblu welcomes Champion Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 in a meeting of two Italian clubs on Saturday. The two teams have already faced each other twice during the Pre Season. Both friendly games have been won by the „Yellow-Reds“. The two teams have shown different faces during this Alps Hockey League season as well: While Champion Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 has earned points out of all five games (four wins) so far, Hockey Milano Rossoblu is still waiting for their first victory. The Alps Hockey League Champion has been successful in six straight clashes with the „Red & Blues“. Milano got their last win against the team from Veneto on February 10th 2015 or 1333 days ago.

The Red Bull Hockey Juniors and EK Zeller Eisbären will try to return on the winning street in the Salzburger derby on Saturday. Each team has been defeated lately: The Mozart Citizens lost (1:4) in Sterzing on Thursday. The „Polar Bears“ have even been defeated in three straight games and have scored only three goals in total. Besides, the team playing an the road has been successful in two consecutive Salzburger derbys.

EC-KAC II and EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau will face each other in a meeting of two Austrian teams. The two clubs have shown different faces so far: While Klagenfurt has been defeated in three straight games and has allowed most goals (39), the „Lions“ have been successful in four consecutive matches and potted most goals (34). The Vorarlberger, who are the best Austrian team in the Alps Hockey League as well, have won all six clashes with the Carinthians so far.

HC Fassa Falcons is back in the Alps Hockey League after eight days. The Italians will welcome VEU Feldkirch on Saturday. The Falcons have lost their last game (2:4)  in Bruneck. But, watch out: The Italians have earned their first season-win against EC Bregenzerwald in front of their own fans one day prior. The Austrians, who have been successful against Slovenian Champion HK SIJ Acroni Jesenice (2:1) at home lately, are without a road-win 2018/19. The team having home-advantage has been successful in three straight meetings.

HC Gherdeina valgardena.it welcomes Leader HC Pustertal Wolves in a meeting of two Italian clubs on Saturday. Bruneck is the team of the hour: The Wolves have won all six matches so far and have allowed just seven goals! But, watch out: The „Furies“ have already beaten HK SZ Olimpija at home this season. Besides, Gherdeina has been successful at EC Bregenzerwald (4:1) lately. Bruneck has won six consecutive meetings with Gherdeina. Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro and Vice-Champion Rittner Buam will be the only teams, fighting for points in the Alps Hockey League on Sunday. The Rittner Buam won the Italian Super Cup title on Thursday, beating Hockey Milano Rossoblu (5:4/OT). But in the Alps Hockey League, the Vice-Champion had problems on the road so far: The South Tyroleans have lost all three road-games so far. Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro will try to get back on the winning-street as well: Cortina, that has won the last meeting with the Rittner Buam, has been defeated in two straight games and has scored just one goal.
