Five clubs of the Alps Hockey League have announced transfer news. While the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan presented a new head coach, Jesenice, Linz and Meran extended with players. Meanwhile, HC Gherdeina announced the signing of a new Finnish forward.

Svetina goes into another season with Jesenice
The 22-year-old forward Erik Svetina goes into another season with HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice. Last season, Svetina provided 59 scoring points (19 goals | 40 assists).

Steel Wings extend with two players
The Steel Wings Linz, who qualified for the pre-playoffs for the first time last season, extended deals with their third-leading scorer Nico Lahtinen (16 goals/ 22 assists) as well as forward Marcel Mayrhofer, who is entering his fourth season with the Linz.

Meran extends with three cracks
HC Merano/o has announced the contract extension with Nicholas Pezzetta, Mattia Cassibba and Adrian Klein.

New head coach for Broncos
The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan have signed a new head coach, Jussi Tupamäki. In the 2017/18 season Tupamäki worked as head coach of EC Bregenzerwald and therefore already knows the Alps Hockey League.

Finnish forward for Gherdeina
HC Gherdeina has signed Finnish forward Jerry Sammalisto. The 24-year-old took a break last season. Before that, he played exclusively in Finland.
