HK SZ Olimpija trusts in Slovenian players in the upcoming season. Two, new arrivals are defenseman Ales Kranjc and forward Anej Kujavec. The club from Ljubljana has 19 players (all Slovenians) under contract now. Kranjc will add much experience to the team: The 36-year old defenseman has already played for clubs from Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary (Hungarian Champion with Fehervar AV19 2011), Russia, Sweden and his home country Slovenia (three times Slovenian Champion with HK Acroni Jesenice - 2005, 2006 and 2008). Besides, Kranjc is a key-player in the Slovenian nationalteam as well. Kranjc defended for the Eispiraten Crimmitschau in the DEL/2 past season and he had 35 points (2G/33A) out of 52 games. Furthermore, Youngster Kujavec returns after one year from Sweden to Ljubljana. The 19-year old forward went for goals and points for Hudiksvalls HC U20 last season, scoring 14 points out of 25 games.

MVP stays in Asiago
The MVP, Anthony Bardaro, will continue to play for Champion Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 in the upcoming, two years as well! The 25-year old forward was a key-player in the team last season, he had most points (79) and most goals (37) in the Alps Hockey League 2017/18 and he earned the title in his first season in Europe in the end...
 
Goalscorer joins Cortina
Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro has signed Canadian Mathieu Ayotte on a Try Out. The 22-year old forward has been a reliable scorer for the Victoriaville Tigers and Quebec Remparts in the QMJHL between 2012 and 2017, scoring 181 points (74G/107A) out of 243 games. After an injury and a one year break, the youngster is ready for his first season in Europe now.
 
Radin stays in Milano, Valle Da Rin arrives new from Cortina
Italian Andreas Radin will start with Hockey Milano Rossobu in the club‘s first season in the Alps Hockey League in September! The 24-years old defenseman has been a key-player in the team so far: Radin scored 55 points out of 59 games for Milano in Italians series 2, during the last three years… Besides, Radin has experience from playing overseas (Jersey Wildcats and Hartford Jr. Wolfpack) between 2013 and 2015 too.
Besides, Italian nationalteam goalie Martino Valle Da Rin went from Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro to Milano. The 28-year old goalie had a save% of 88,2 and a GAA of 4.02 out of seven Alps Hockey League games past season.
 
VEU adds ten players to their roster
The VEU Feldkirch has added ten players to their roster for the upcoming season. The defensemen Patrick Ratz and Stefan Wiedmaier and the forwards Niklas Gehringer, Daniel Fekete, Smail Samardzic, Kevin Puschnik, Diethard Winzig, Benjamin Kyllönen, Christoph Draschkowitz and Martin Mairitsch are still with the team. The VEU-roster contains 21 players in total now.
 
Vonbun - first new arrival for the Wälder
Felix Vonbun is the first new player in the roster of EC Bregenzerwald for 2018/19. The 19-year old defenseman spent his youth in Switzerland. Last season, he defended for GCK Lions U20 in the Elite Junior A Championship and for EC Wil in Swiss Division I.
Besides, Jonas Wohlgenannt will be one of the goalies of EC Bregenzerwald 2018/19. The 19-year old Austrian has already played one Alps Hockey League-game for the west-club 2016/17. Prior, the youngster guarded the net for the youth teams of SC Reinthal in Switzerland from 2012 until 2016.
Furthermore, Georg Waldhauser will start into his sixth season with the „Wälder“ 2018/19. The 25-year old Austrian has been a key-player in the Wälder’s defense so far. Last season, Waldhauser had 15 points (3G/12A) out of 40 Alps Hockey League-games. Prior, the big and strong defenseman has already earned two (2013, 2016) Inter National League titles with the Vorarlberger.
