Giliati stays in Bozen
HCB Südtirol Alperia has renewed the expired contract with Stefano Giliati. For the 32-year-old, the 2020/21 season in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League is his third in Bolzano, the second in a row.

The Canadian, who grew up in Montreal, returned to HCB Südtriol Alperia last summer after starting his European career in Bolzano in the 11/12 season. In the past season he was the third best scorer of the "Foxes" with 33 points from 49 games. Between his engagements in South Tyrol, the experienced player performed in the Finnish Liiga, the KHL, NLA or the DEL.

"It was a real pity that the championship had to be cancelled, but of course health always has priority. I expect that we will start equally strong this year, the team has remained almost the same and there must be no excuses. We finished the championship as dominators and have to continue like this. Our goal is to reach the first place in the table and to advance in the Champions Hockey League", says the former participant of the Spengler Cup.

Bratislava Capitals sign defender
The iClinic Bratislava Capitals signed defender Dávid Boldižár. The 21-year-old spent the past season in the Slovakian second division at HK Spisska Nova Ves.
Dávid Boldižár has already gained experience for various youth selections of the Slovak national team as well as for Slovan Bratislava and most recently for HK Spišská Nová Ves.

Dušan Pašek, Vice President and CEO of Bratislava Capitals: "David successfully completed the test phase with us. He is a young and powerful player who can skate well".
