Transfer Update from Salzburg, Fehérvár, Vienna and Graz

On Monday four teams of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League announced roster updates. At the EC Red Bull Salzburg six players from the Academy will play in the first team from now on. At Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and the Moser Medical Graz99ers Canadians were signed. At the spusu Vienna Capitals the contract with Alex Wall was extended.

Salzburg gives professional contract to six players
With Lucas Thaler, Oskar Maier, Philipp Wimmer and Danjo Leonhardt, four of the six players were already active in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League last season. Only goalkeeper Florian Bugl and Jakub Borzecki have yet not played in the ICE. Lucas Thaler and Philipp Wimmer even scored their first professional goals in their debut matches.

Fehérvár signs Canadian Langkow
Hydro Fehérvár AV19 announced the signing of Canadian center Chris Langkow. For the 30-years-old it is the second engagement in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. In the season 2016/17, the right-shooter was under contract with Ljubljana. Between 2018 and 2020, Langkow also already played in Hungary, with MAC Budapest. In the past two seasons, the center scored 89 points (46G / 43A).

Alex Wall stays with the Caps
With Alex Wall, the spusu Vienna Capitals will keep an important player. The 30-years-old Canadian has been playing for the Austrian Capitals since the season 2018/19. In 175 games so far, the defender has scored 107 points (26G/81A).

99ers sign American Blood
The Moser Medical Graz99ers signed American defender Ben Blood. The 32-years-old has spent the last two and a half seasons with Tappara Tampere in Finland. The left-shooter spent most of his career in his native USA. In 2007, the now 32-years-old was traded by the Ottawa Senators in the fourth round of the NHL draft. Blood played consistently in the U.S. until the end of 2014 before signing with Stjernen Hockey in Norway. In the last years he was active in the Finnish Liiga. In the past season, the he scored three goals and made seven assists in 42 games.
