Pustertal signs Italian international Gregory Di Tomaso
HC Pustertal Wölfe heads into the new season with a well-traveled addition: Gregory Di Tomaso joins the ICE club from South Tyrol after playing in the Alps Hockey League. The 29-year-old right-handed defenseman from Toronto holds an Italian passport and spent the past three seasons with SG Cortina, where he became a key figure for the Italian national team. Di Tomaso was part of the “Azzurri” squad at the World Championship in Romania, where Italy celebrated a major success by earning promotion to the top division.

Sebastian Dahm remains with record champions
A key piece of business was also confirmed in Klagenfurt: Sebastian Dahm has extended his contract with EC-KAC, entering his sixth season with the Austrian record champions. The 38-year-old Danish international goaltender has played 269 competitive games (257 of them in the win2day ICE Hockey League) for the Red Jackets, recording 39 shutouts and a GAA of 2.10. With his new one-year deal, Dahm could surpass 300 ICE appearances next season – a milestone no other KAC goaltender has reached since the league's formation.

Lindner strengthens the Capitals' blue line
The Vienna Capitals have secured the services of a promising defenseman in Lorenz Lindner. The 22-year-old has signed a two-year contract with Vienna and, despite his young age, already has 57 ICE appearances and an Alps Hockey League title with Zell am See under his belt. A native of Carinthia, Lindner has developed through several local clubs and the Black Wings Linz organization. Last season, he played 54 competitive games with Vienna’s affiliate team in Zell and stood out as a reliable two-way defender with upward potential.

FTC Telekom Budapest signs national team goalie Bálizs
Hungarian newcomers FTC Telekom Budapest have unveiled Bence Bálizs as their first international signing ahead of their debut season. The 33-year-old national team goaltender joins from Újpesti TE and brings with him a wealth of experience, including over 100 international appearances and several World Championship campaigns.
