Italian forward Tommaso Traversa went from Vice-Champion Rittner Buam to HC Pustertal Wolves. Topscorer Luka Basic stays in Jesenice and Matic Jancar will defend for EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel in the upcoming Alps Hockey League-season as well. Italian Champion Rittner Buam and Slovenian Champion HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice will face each other in the IIHF Continental Cup in October 2018.

Traversa went from Ritten to Bruneck
Forward Tommaso Traversa went from Vice-Champion Rittner Buam to HC Pustertal Wolves! The 27-year old Italian had two successful seasons in Ritten, earning the Alps Hockey League title 2017 and playing in the finals 2018 as well. Traversa was a key-player in the team, scoring 55 points (20G/35A) out of 96 games. Besides, the power-forward promoted with Team Italy to the Top-Divison at the World Championships Division I/A in Hungary in April 2018.
 
Topscorer stays in Jesenice, Jancar in Kitzbühel
Luka Basic will go for goals and points for HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice in the upcoming season as well. The 28-year old forward was the best scorer in the team 2017/18, the Slovenian Nationalteam player had 51 points (16G/35A) out of 48 Alps Hockey League-games. Besides, he has won the title in Slovenia with the "Red Steelers" 2018 as well. Basic has experience from playing in Sweden, France, Great Britain and Slovakia too.
 
Big and strong defenseman Matic Jancar (SLO/AUT) will defend for EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel in the upcoming season as well. The 26-year old defender had four Assists out of 40 Alps Hockey League matches 2017/18.
 
Rittner Buam will welcome HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice in the IIHF Continental Cup
Italian Champion Rittner Buam will host MAC Budapest (HUN), Alps Hockey League-rival HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice (SLO) and Crvena Zvezda Belgrade (SRB) in the second round of the IIHF Continental Cup from October 19th until October 21st 2018.
