Win2day ICE Hockey League | 31.01.2023 | Schedule:
Tue, 31.01.2023, 7.15 pm: HK SZ Olimpija – Steinbach Black Wings Linz
Referees: RENCZ, STERNAT, Muzsik, Vaczi. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
Steinbach Black Wings Linz are back fighting for direct quarterfinal qualification, as the fifth-placed Upper Austrians were defeated for the second time in a row on Sunday (1-4 vs. PUS) and are now only two points ahead of seventh-placed EC-KAC, although Klagenfurt has played one game more. They are currently seven points ahead of eighth-placed Hydro Fehérvár AV19. For Linz, only a win counts against a weakening Ljubljana. Phil Lukas' team has won the three previous encounters this season. For the Slovenians, which still have nine games to play, a success against Linz would be a final boost in the race for the pre-playoffs. The team recently taken over by Antti Karhula is on an eight-game losing streak and is twelve points behind tenth place. The Dragons are still struggling with their special teams. On Sunday, the Black Wings had to do without Emilio Romig, Daine Todd and Raphael Wolf due to illness. It is not yet clear whether the trio will return against Ljubljana.

Win2day ICE Hockey League | 01.02.2023 | Schedule:
Wed, 01.02.2023, 7.45 pm: Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey – Moser Medical Graz99ers
Referees: NIKOLIC M., ZRNIC, Snoj, Sparer. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey and the Moser Medical Graz99ers will play on Wednesday a probably pre-deciding game in the fight for the qualification for the pre-playoffs. The Italians are currently in tenth place, one point behind the ninth-placed Styrians - albeit with two games less played. While Asiago recently suffered another defeat after four wins in a row (3-6 @VSV), the "99ers", which were still missing two important players with Yogan and Olausson, scored in their last two games. The league newcomer has won its last three home games, showed itself defensively very strong with only one goal conceded per game. Also when shorthanded: with 85.3% Asiago shows the second best penalty killing in the league. Graz, on the other hand, has been winless on the road for seven consecutive games, only picking up a point in Vorarlberg (4-5 SO defeat). In four of the last seven away games, the Styrians remained without a goal. The away team has always won the previous three matches 3-2.
