For Troy Bourke, the signing in Salzburg is already his third in Europe, before that he played from 2014 to 2019 with various clubs in the AHL and ECHL. From 2019 followed two seasons in the PENNY DEL with the Schwenninger Wild Wings and finally the last season in Finland's Liiga with Oulun Kärpät, where the Canadian collected 13 goals and 24 assists, making him team's second-leading scorer.

"I chose the Red Bulls because the organization has a very good reputation and focus on developing your skills as well as winning. I am a playmaker, a 2-way center and see myself as a team player. I want to get to the next level in my personal performance and help the team win championships again," said Troy Bourke.

"We are excited to have Troy on our team. He is a very strong 2-way center and has an excellent knack for drawing up play. In addition, he is also a hard worker and will help to strengthen our forward lines well", comments Salzburg's Head Coach Matt McIlvane on the transfer.
