14.02.2018, 19:15: Red Bull Hockey Juniors - EC 'Die Adler' Stadtwerke Kitzbühel
Referees: RUETZ, WIDMANN, Markizeti, Miklic

At the end of regular season, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors have a tough schedule as they hit the ice five times in the past two weeks. With two road wins in Kitzbühel and Klagenfurt they climbed to seventh place last weekend, gaining a top eight placement for the first time. Now the Tirolese come to Volksgarten for the return game. The little postseason hopes of the Eagles came to an end with three successive defeats lately. With four games to go, it looks like they would finish on 13th place. The Juniors are in control of their own destiny on the contrary and build on their roster depth as the last ten goals were scored by nine different players.

14.02.2018, 19:30: EC Bregenzerwald - EK Zeller Eisbären
Referees: HOLZER, WALLNER, Kalb, Tschrepitsch

For the last time in regular season Zell am See hits the road for Vorarlberg on Ash Wednesday to face EC Bregenzerwald in a real showdown. Both teams are closely behind the playoffs spots and urgently need points: ECB ranks ninth with one more point than Zell am See. The Vorarlberg team also leads 2:1 in season meeting - more than nine goals were scored on average in these three games. Daniel Ban, who has earned 37 points and is the second-best Austrian scorer, lit the lamp four times against the polar bears. The visitors are on a hot streak, though, as the team of head coach Dieter Werfring won six out of their last seven games. They also beat top clubs like Jesenice and Feldkirch.
