In the duel between the spusu Vienna Capitals and HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie, two of the offensively strongest teams in the league face each other. In addition, the Dornbirn Bulldogs conclude their road trip at the iClinic Bratislava Capitals.

  • The iClinic Bratislava Capitals return to the Ondrej Nepela Arena for their home game against Dornbirn - they last played at home against Vienna on New Year's Day as the Slovakians also played the other scheduled home games away from home for organisational reasons
  • On Tuesday, the newcomers to the league ended their 3-game losing streak with a 3-2 win over Linz.
  • The sixth-placed Bulldogs also came back to winning ways with a 6-2 home win over Graz on Monday.
  • The Vorarlberg side takes on Hydro Fehérvár AV 19 in Hungary this Friday and finish their road trip in Bratislava on Saturday.
  • On the fifth and sixth of December, the Bulldogs and the Bratislava Capitals dueled at the Messestadion. Bratislava gave up the home right for the game on 05.12 and so Dornbirn could celebrate an "away win" and a home win.
  • Saturday's game will be the first real away game for the Bulldogs in the Ondrej Nepala Ice Hockey Arena
