First New Signing for KAC
The first new addition to EC-KAC’s roster for the 2025/26 season is Jordan Murray. The 32-year-old Canadian brings a wealth of international experience to Klagenfurt: after three seasons in the AHL (174 games for the Ottawa Senators’ affiliate) and stints in both the KHL and SHL, the left-shot defenseman played 215 games in the DEL since 2021 – suiting up for Wolfsburg, Mannheim, and most recently Schwenningen. Over that stretch, he registered an impressive 113 points (24 goals, 89 assists), making him one of the league’s most productive blueliners. Murray, who signed a one-year deal, is expected to play a key role in KAC’s defense with his hockey IQ, vision, and offensive instincts.

Bolzano Adds Brett Pollock
HCB Südtirol Alperia has signed Brett Pollock, a versatile and dangerous forward capable of playing both center and wing. The 29-year-old Canadian tallied 153 points in 165 games for Kosice over the past two and a half seasons, won two Slovak championships, and led the league in scoring last season with 60 points – also finishing as the top playoff assist provider (13 assists). Pollock brings experience from North America (AHL, ECHL), Germany (DEL), Sweden (Allsvenskan), and even the KHL – and has scored 140 goals over the course of his career. The 191 cm tall power forward most recently impressed with his leadership and scoring touch. In 2024, he already made an impression at the Südtirol Summer Classic in the Sparkasse Arena – and now he’s set to light it up there on a regular basis.
