Three-time ICE champion for Black Wings
The Steinbach Black Wings Linz have added Marcel Witting, a three-time champion of the win2day ICE Hockey League, who joins from EC-KAC. Witting, who hails from Tyrol and began his career with HC Innsbruck, has spent the last eleven years with KAC, where he worked his way up from Alps Hockey League player to pro level. In his final season with KAC, Witting delivered his best scoring performance with a total of eleven points in the regular season and important contributions in the playoffs. His move to the Black Wings brings needed depth and experience to the team.

Pustertal continues to revamp defense
HC Pustertal has strengthened its defense with Gustav Bouramman, a Swede who played the last two years with the Moser Medical Graz99ers. Bouramman, who has also played internationally in the Finnish first league, brings valuable experience from the OHL, ECHL and American Hockey League. Last season, he distinguished himself as one of the Moser Medical Graz99ers' most reliable defensemen with a positive +/- record and 24 points in 33 games.

European rookie for the Pioneers
The BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg have decided to rejuvenate their roster by signing Lucas Sowder, a talented winger from Florida. Sowder, who showed his skills at Minnesota State University, Mankato, was one of the leading scorers there.

Contract extension at the KAC
The EC-KAC and defenseman Tobias Sablattnig have agreed to continue their cooperation: The homegrown player has signed the one-year contract offered to him and will therefore continue to suit up in a Red Jackets jersey in the upcoming 2024-25 season.
