Marco Richter moves from Klagenfurt to Vienna
After four years with the EC-KAC, Marco Richter is moving to the spusu Vienna Capitals. Last season, the 24-year-old striker played in 40 games of Klagenfurt and scored two goals and seven assists.

Marco Richter: "It has always been my dream to play in Vienna. I left here early and also gained experience in North America. But to play in my hometown, in yellow and black Jersey, was definitely always my goal."

With the signing of Richter, the basic squad of Caps now consists of 16 players. Besides the two import players Ty Loney (USA) and Taylor Vause (CAN), 14 Austrians are under contract.

Colton Hargrove signs with Fehérvár AV19
Coltron Hargrove moved from HCB Südtirol Alerpia to Hydro Fehérvár AV19, where the left winger provided the Foxes with 8 goals and 27 assists in 50 games in his European debut season.

The 185 centimetre tall player began his career with the Providence Bruins in the AHL and later moved to the Texas Stars. After four years overseas, he continued his career with HCB Südtirol Alperia.

Viktor Szélig, General Manager Hydro Fehérvár AV19: "Hargrove is a strong, physical, typical striker who lacks neither physical contact nor coldness in front of goal. Last year was his first season in Europe. I'm sure we can expect a lot more development."

David Fischer signs for another season.
The head of defence of the EC-KAC has signed for another year. David Fischer is to ensure stability in the defence of the KAC in the coming season as well. In the past season, the US-American received on average the highest "time-on-ice" of all Klagenfurt players. Fischer takes the third legionary place in the EC-KAC squad.

The US-American has played 220 league games for the Klagenfurt team so far. He currently has 120 scorer points (21 goals, 99 assists) and a plus/minus balance of +61. The defender played twelve more games in the club's two most recent Champions Hockey League participations in 2017 and 2019.
In his four years with the KAC so far, David Fischer has proved himself a true "marathon man": In each of these seasons he advanced to become the KAC player with the highest average time on ice per match (KAC career average: 22:57 minutes).

After David Fischer's contract extension, the red-and-white captain's quartet, which Head Coach Petri Matikainen has selected for the coming season, is also fixed: While Manuel Ganahl will be captain, Thomas Hundertpfund, Thomas Koch and David Fischer take on the roles of Alternate Captains.

Bratislava with another newcomer on the offensive
The iClinic Bratislava Capitals squad continues to grow. After the newcomer of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League recently presented two import players, the team now presents Adam Lapšansky, an experienced Slovakian for the offensive. The 30-year-old wing player most recently played in the Tipsport League (SVK) at HK Poprad and HK Dukla Trancin. Before that, Lapšansky gained experience in the DEL 2 and the Czech Tipsport Extra League.

Dušan Pašek, Vice President and CEO of iClinic Bratislava Capitals: ′′We have signed a good skater and player with experience. We believe that he will be able to use his potential and that he will provide stable performances. Based on his playing style, he believes that the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League will be a perfect fit for him and that he will be a support for our offensive".
