With four wins in a row, Val Gardena currently holds the longest winning streak of all teams. The "Furie" improved to ninth place as a result. For the Steel Wings, victory and defeat have always alternated in the last six games. Most recently, the 14th-placed Upper Austrians were narrowly beaten at home by Zell am See. Val Gardena won all four AHL duels so far.

In the first duel of the season between the two teams, Meran came out on top in overtime just two weeks ago.

The third-placed Rittner Buam have alternated between wins and losses in their last five games. Defenseman Zachary Osburn has been exceptionally strong so far with 16 scoring points. In the first duel of the season, the South Tyroleans won clearly with 8:2.

Fassa, currently 15th in the standings, recently suffered defeats at the top teams from Lustenau and Asiago. The Falcons celebrated three of their four wins so far this season on their own ice. They now host the Juniors, who yesterday won 10:3 against Cortina. However, the currently eighth-placed Salzburg team has been defeated four times in a row away from home. In the first duel of the season Fassa won 4:1 away, it was only the second victory in the 13th comparison.

After today's home game against KAC, Bregenzerwald will head to Cortina on Saturday. The Italians lost their last four games and slipped to 13th place. The Vorarlberg team presented itself as one of the positive surprises of the season so far. They won seven of eleven games and are on rank seven. Against Cortina, however, the ECB mostly had a hard time, in eleven of 14 duels the Italians left the ice as winners.
