In Tuesday's lone Alps Hockey League game, HK RST Pellet Celje will face Red Bull Hockey Juniors for the first time. The current form is clearly in favour of the Salzburg side, who have won their last five games. On Wednesday, second-placed EK Die Zeller Eisbären will travel to EC Bregenzerwald. Three successes in a row have seen the Vorarlberg side move up to sixth place. It is also the clash between the best home and away team in the league.

Celje have been beaten three times recently, the last defeat was a particularly heavy 2:10 against Unterland. The league newcomers have slipped to penultimate place and, with 79 goals conceded, also have the second weakest defence in the league. The Red Bull Hockey Juniors, who have picked up 14 points from their last five games - only league leaders Ritten are better with maximum points - are in a completely different position. On Saturday, the fifth-placed Red Bulls won the Salzburg derby against Zell am See after overtime. With six wins from nine games, the Juniors are one of the best road teams in the league. Celje and Salzburg face each other for the first time.

Wed, 29.11.2023, 19:30: EC Bregenzerwald - EK Die Zeller Eisbären
Referees: GIACOMOZZI, SCHAUER, Fleischmann, Jäger | >> valcome.tv <<

EC Bregenzerwald have been in outstanding form, winning their last three games with a goal difference of 20:9. These victories have also seen the Vorarlberg team move up to sixth place. The Zell am See side, on the other hand, suffered two defeats in a row for the first time this season. After the Salzburg team was more than a month at the top of the table, Ritten took over on Sunday. With 79 goals, the Polar Bears have the best offence and Tomi Wilenius is also the league's top scorer (18G, 20A). While Bregenzerwald is currently the best home team (25 points from ten games), Zell am See has picked up the most points away on the road (23 from ten games). The Pinzgau team won the first season meeting 4:1 at home.
