bet-at-home ICE Hockey League | 1. October 2021:
Fri, 1. October 2021, 6.30 pm: HC Orli Znojmo – Moser Medical Graz99ers
Referees: FICHTNER, SIEGEL, Bedynek, Gatol. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
The upcoming gameday in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League opens with the encounter between HC Orli Znojmo and Moser Medical Graz99ers. The Czechs, still unbeaten in front of their home crowd, feature a new defender in Alexander Younan, who is expected to build on their improving form in their own zone: After conceding nine goals in the first two games, they have conceded three in the last two. Graz celebrated their first win of the season on Sunday (5:2 vs. PUS) - and would like to follow up in Znojmo, but need an increase in penalty killing: With 60% (15/6), the 99ers, which continue to be without Oberkofler, Rappold and Zusevics, are last in the league.

Fri, 1. October 2021, 7.15 pm: Dornbirn Bulldogs – Hydro Fehérvár AV19
Referees: BERNEKER, RUETZ, Martin, Racicot. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
The league leader Hydro Fehérvár AV19 starts its road trip at Dornbirn Bulldogs. The Hungarians are the only ICE team without defeat after four rounds. With the four wins in a row, AVS has equaled its best start to a season so far: in 2008/09, the Hungarians opened with four victories en suite. Especially at Even-Strength the Constantine team showed up with only four goals conceded. Overall, the Tirronen/Kornakker goalkeeping duo conceded just eight - the fewest of any goalkeeping tandem. The sixth-placed Bulldogs have also shown good form so far, winning all three with a one-goal difference, two of them via OT game-winners. Fehérvár's next game will be on Saturday at EC Red Bull Salzburg.

Fri, 1. October 2021, 7.15 pm: Steinbach Black Wings Linz – HCB Südtirol Alperia
Referees: RENCZ, TRILAR, Kis-Kiraly, Zgonc.
Steinbach Black Wings Linz got their first point last weekend (1:2 OT defeat vs. HCI) but are still waiting for their first win of the season. On home ice, they welcome HCB Südtirol Alperia, the current third-placed team. The personnel situation for the Upper Austrians, which have only been able to score four goals this season and have yet to score a goal on the power play, has eased in recent days: Except for Kai Kantola, Raphael Wolf and Maxim Lamarche, the entire line-up is available. So far, Bolzano has won three of its four games this season and showed similar strength as in the past season, especially on the power play (28.6%). In the last seven games in Linz, the teams have always taken turns to win - this time it would be the "Foxes" turn again. Blzano misses suspended Brett Findlay

Fri, 1. October 2021, 7.30 pm: EC-KAC – spusu Vienna Capitals
Referees: HRONSKY, STERNAT, Durmis, Miklic. | >> FREE LIVE PULS 24 (available worldwide) <<
The duel between EC-KAC and spusu Vienna Capitals will take place on Friday for the second time this season. The first meeting was dominated by the defending champions with 5:0. Meanwhile, the "Rotjacken" are without a win for two games, while Vienna managed to get the first win of the season on Saturday (3:0 vs. HCI). Especially the Danish newcomer Nicolai Meyer (3G|4A) showed strong performances and multiple points in each of the last three games. The EC-KAC enters unchanged in terms of personnel, Paul Postma, who is back in the line-up, plays his first home game in front of the crowd. In the Klagenfurt Stadthalle, the EC-KAC is without defeat in competitive games since February 26th.

Fri, 1. October 2021, 7.45 pm: HK SZ Olimpija – HC TIWAG Innsbruck – Die Haie
Referees: BULOVEC, OFNER, Nothegger, Puff. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
The game between HK SZ Olimpija and HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie also has revenge character. In the first round, the Tyroleans prevailed against the Slovenians - despite being two goals behind - but after that, the two form curves diverged: Innsbruck picked up only one OT win from four games. Ljubljana started a winning streak, winning all three games - and these at least by a three-goal margin. The "Dragons'" recipe for success is flawless penalty killing (14/0). The top-scoring duo Leclerc (5G|6A) and Murphy (3G|6A) have also been outstanding so far. Alex Dostie, who scored two goals in the first meeting between these two teams, should be back in the lineup after recovering from injury.

Fri, 1. October 2021, 7.45 pm: HC Pustertal Wölfe – EC Red Bull Salzburg
Referees: PIRAGIC, ZRNIC, Pardatscher, Seewald. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
HC Pusteral Wölfe celebrates its home debut on Friday. For the first time in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League, the South Tyroleans will play a game in the new Intercable Arena. They completed their first training sessions on Tuesday, and their first opponent is EC Red Bull Salzburg. The two teams have an almost identical record: two wins, two losses. The only road game this season was won by the "Bullen" (4:0). While both teams have not shown the best performance especially in penalty killing, Salzburg dominates the PP ranking with 36.4%. The Red Bulls will face Hydro Fehérvár AV19 at home already on Saturday, missing Lukas Schreier and Ty Loney. Neo-goalie Atte Tolvanen, Paul Stapelfeldt and Tim Harnisch are back in the squad.
