Short text 716 CharactersPlain text

On Tuesday, three games with quite clear signs are on the schedule. The EC-KAC II and the Steel Wings Linz have not yet been able to record a win against their opponents in AHL history. While the Klagenfurt team has already suffered eight AHL defeats against Asiago, the Upper Austrians have suffered four clear defeats against Jesenice over the seasons. Meanwhile, the Slovenians are "on-fire" and can set their longest AHL winning streak in club history on Tuesday. In the third Tuesday game, SHC Fassa Falcons will look to surprise against league leader HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana. On Wednesday, EC Bregenzerwald welcomes S.G. Cortina Hafro. With a full success the team from Vorarlberg could catch up with Cortina.

Tu, 16.02.2021 Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey - EC KAC II 19:00 hrs
Referees: GIACOMOZZI, LAZZERI, De Zordo, Fleischmann, >>PPV-Livestream<<
On Tuesday, Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey will host EC KAC II. The Klagenfurt team have not been able to win any of the previous eight duels against the Yellow-Reds in the eternal AHL duel record. In the previous season, however, the young Carinthians were once very close to a success. In September 2019, the KAC only had to admit defeat in overtime. This season, the two teams will meet for the first time. The KAC II was able to show up several times in recent weeks, for example, they were able to defeat the Rittner Buam and also recently kept up against HC Pustertal for long stretches before they had to accept a narrow defeat. However, Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey is also in really good shape, winning the last four games with an average goal difference of 4.3 goals. In the standings, Asiago is thus close to the top-4 teams, while the Klagenfurt team has to fight for a pre-playoff spot. The gap to 12th place is seven points

Tu, 16.02.2021 Steel Wings Linz - HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice 19:00 hrs
Referees: LOICHT, WIDMANN, Legat, Schweighofer, >>PPV-Livestream<<
A tough game is in store for the Steel Wings Linz on Tuesday. The last team in the standings will meet third-placed HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice. In the previous four duels in the eternal record there was nothing to get for the young Austrians. This season, the two teams have already met twice in the Return 2 Play Round. In the last duel, the team from Linz scored the first goals and even managed to take the lead for a short time. However, it was not enough for a point. Jesenice is currently in top form. The Slovenians are already unbeaten for 10 games and thus have the longest running winning streak this season. To set the longest streak in AHL history, however, they still have a few wins ahead of them. HC Pustertal (2017/18 season) and the Rittner Buam (2016/17 season) even posted 17 straight victories in previous seasons. However, their own AHL club record is within immediate reach. A win against the Steel Wings Linz would equal their own record from the previous year. In the standings, Jesenice is within striking distance to the leader of the league and Slovenian rival Ljubljana, who, however, have already played two games more.

Against Ljubljana, Fassa has only recorded one win in AHL history. The two teams met earlier this calendar year. Ljubljana came out on top with a 5-2 victory.
