HC Gherdeina valgardena.it celebrated its highest win of the season so far in a 6-0 road win at EC Bregenzerwald. For the first time in the current championship, the South Tyroleans remained without conceding a goal. Former league MVP Colin Furlong saved all 25 shots on goal. The preliminary decision was made midway through the game, as Matteo Luisetti, Michael Sullmann Pilser and Samuel Moroder made it 4-0 within less than 2,5 minutes. The resistance of the "Wälder" was thus broken and the Vorarlberg team had to admit defeat for the third consecutive game and remained without a point at home for the first time this season.
