Prior to that, Michal Stinil matured in the junior department of Pirati Chomutov. There, the forward made it up to the U18 team before he moved to the USA for the 16-17 season. The Czech had his breakout season when he joined the Wichita Thunder in the ECHL. In his first campaign, Stinil scored 30 points in 54 games (13G|17A). The Czech then developed into one of the best players in the entire ECHL during the 22-23 season, scoring 79 points (31G|48A) - making Stinil the highest-scoring player on his team.

"My goal was to come back to Europe from North America. Vienna is a beautiful city and a great place to play field hockey. The spusu Vienna Capitals are also a very good organization. All of this led to Vienna being high on the list as a destination for my next move. I am already looking forward to the upcoming season," says Caps newcomer Michal Stinil.

Brucker enters sixth consecutive season with Linz
Steinbach Black Wings Linz have extended the contract of Marco Brucker. The 32-year-old forward is entering his sixth consecutive season with the Upper Austrians. He totaled five goals and five assists in the last campaign.

"For me it was clear that I want to stay here. I am very proud to have been a professional ice hockey player for so long. I want to pass this experience on to the young players, both on and off the ice. I increasingly see my role as a leader who plays solidly, especially defensively. I'm not the goal-scorer, I know that. That's why I want to do my job defensively and lead the team that way," Brucker knows.
