In Wednesday’s loneAlps Hockey League game the Vienna Capitals Silver celebrated a comeback win in an all-Austrian duel, as they won 4:3 against the Steel Wings Linz. With 6,5 minutes left the Viennese turned around a two-goal deficit, with Kevin Pesendorfer collecting three points (1G|2A).

With the narrow victory, the Vienna Capitals Silver, which are in last place, reduced their gap to the 15th-placed Steel Wings Linz to eight points and also took revenge for the defeat in the first duel of the season. In the eighth duel against each other, the Viennese celebrated their seventh victory. The guests from Linz were particularly strong on powerplay, with three goals - Valentin Ploner (23.) acknowledged the Steel Wings' interim lead after the first period with the lone goal in the middle period - they were 3:1 ahead until the 54th minute. But then the Viennese started their race to catch up: Fabio Artner halved the deficit, Kevin Pesendorfer (56./PP2) equalized on a double PP and Amadeus Egger (58.) made the turnaround perfect with the game-winner.
