The 188 cm tall, 93 kg Two-Way Forward returned to the win2day ICE Hockey League last summer with Bolzano after stints in Finland’s Liiga and the Czech Extraliga. During the 2022/23 season, he suited up for the HC TIWAG Innsbruck, where he recorded an impressive 72 points in 49 games. In the past season, Helewka stood out as one of Bolzano’s top players, notching 21 goals and 28 assists. The versatile forward - who has also played at a high level in Russia and Sweden - shined in the playoffs as well, including 10 points in the series against Villach.

Adam Helewka: “I'm very excited to have signed in Villach. I've heard nothing but great things about the fans, the organization, and the city. I can't wait to get there and try to win a championship.”

With the signing of Adam Helewka, Villach’s roster planning is now complete.
