Alps Hockey League:
Fri, 16.02.2018: FBI VEU Feldkirch – EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau (19:30 Uhr)
Referees: LAZZERI, MOSCHEN, P. Giacomozzi, Stefenelli.
FBI VEU Feldkirch and EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau will face each other in the Vorarlberg-derby in Feldkirch on Friday. The VEU has the chance to qualify for the Playoffs with a home-win. Dylan Stanley and Co. have won two consecutive home-games against the Lions. But in February the team of Michael Lampert has had some problems and collected just two points from two (home-)games. The VEU has beaten HC Gherdeina valgerdena.it 3:2/OT and was defeated by Zeller Eisbären 3:4 after a 3:0-lead.
On the other side, EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau needs another win in Feldkirch on Friday, to keep their Playoff chances alive. The "Lions" have won two consecutive games against Leader Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 and EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel, but Max Wilfan and Co. are still missing seven points for place eight. The team of Christian Weber will travel with good memories to Feldkirch: The VEU was successful in the last meeting with the VEU in front of their fans end of December (4:2).

Colin Long stays in Gröden
Colin Long will continue to play for another season in Gherdeina. The Forward was stopped by an injury early this season. Prior he has scored for the „Furies“ 15 points in eleven games.
