EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV hosts the spusu Vienna Capitals on Sunday. It is the first game in the history of the win2day ICE Hockey League to be broadcast on PULS 4 - the main channel of the Austrian private station of the ProSiebenSat.1 PULS 4 Group. The two teams are meeting for the second time this season. The Caps narrowly won the first meeting 3:2. Max Zimmer, who also made the difference in Friday's game in Ljubljana, was responsible for the decision back then. The US-American scored a hat trick and extended his pointscoring streak to seven games. That's another reason why the Caps have been the hottest team in the win2day ICE Hockey League in recent games. Six of the last seven games were won by the Viennese in regular playing time. Points could even be captured in all seven games. Thanks to this run, the Caps climbed to fourth place in the table. The last days were less successful for EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV. After the shootout defeat in the derby, the Villach team had to admit defeat against Graz on Friday. In the last three games, only one point could be captured.

EC-KAC and EC Red Bull Salzburg duel for the second time this season. Klagenfurt inflicted one of only two defeats on Salzburg. In the Klagenfurt victory at the beginning of October, Lukas Haudum was particularly convincing with a hat trick. The Salzburgers are currently in third place in the table, but have so far recorded the highest points average per game of all teams.
