The Toronto native came up through the ranks of junior leagues in Ontario and has earned his place in one of Canada U17 national selections. He has played for Erie, Kingston and Oshawa in the Ontario Hockey League, logging 83 points in 62 games in his final junior year.

After short stints in AHL, ECHL and USports, Neumann now moves to Europe and has joined Znojmo in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League.

Head coach Glen Hanlon: "Brett is a fast player with good skill. We have watched him in practice for a few days now and he has good skating. We expect goals from him, he has shown his potential in ECHL and USports. He has played with top players in the past and we want to give him that opportunity here, too."
