Former MVP Furlong stays at Gherdeina
Colin Furlong, MVP of the 19-20 season in the Alps Hockey League, renewed his contract at HC Gherdeina valgardena.it, after posting a save percentage of 93,2 for league's quarter finalist this season. The 29-year-old heads into his fifth consecutive AHL campaign, his second with the "Furie".

One more season for Zimmermann at Zell am See
After renewing the contracts of head coach Martin Ekrt and captain Hubert Berger the EK Die Zeller Eisbären have announced the extension of goalie Max Zimmermann. The Austrian played 24 games for the "Eisbären", showing a save percentage of 89,9. Further, the Salzburg side added Alois Schultes to the roster, having three netminder signed already, with the  21-year-old arriving from Red Bull Hockey Juniors. 

Haberl brothers stay with EHC
Forwards Dominic and Lucas Haberl will continue to play for the EHC Lustenau in the upcoming season, as the two homegrown players have scored together points for the Vorarlberg team so far. Moreover, the semifinalist extended the contract with captain Max Wilfan, with the 31-year-old will head into his 10th season with the "Stickers". 

MacGregor Sharp ends his career
36-year-old MacGregor Sharp of the Rittner Buam ended his professional career but will stay at the club and become new Assistant Coach of Santeri Heiskanen, who extended his contract. In two seasons with Ritten the Canadian forward scored 81 points.His biggest career achievements were winning the win2day ICE Hockey League in 2014 with the HCB Südtirol Alperia and in 2017 with the spusu Vienna Capitals.

Skizzo makes one more season
Former Italian international Christian Borgatello adds one more season to his career, staying at HC Meran/o Pircher, after the 40-year-old posted 5 goals and 26 assists in the past AHL campaign.

Two Finns signed at Kitzbühel
The EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel have signed two Finns for the upcoming season. Joonas Niemelä returns to AHL as the 25-year-old played 17 games for the HC Gherdeina valgardena.it back in 20/21, scoring 23 points. Last season he played for the Saale Bulls in Germany. Further, the Tyroleans took Rasmus Lahnaviik from Red Bull Hockey Juniors, after he posted 24 goals and 16 games in the past AHL season.
