Pioneers Vorarlberg claimed two points away at Hydro Fehérvár AV19. The visitors from Feldkirch got off to the better start, created more scoring chances and took a 1–0 lead into the first intermission. After the break, Fehérvár came out strong and equalised quickly. The Pioneers regained the lead shortly afterwards, but the hosts answered once again in the middle frame to make it 2–2. Following a scoreless third period and overtime, Casey Dornbach decided the game in the penalty shootout. With the win, the Pioneers now trail the top teams by just nine points in the standings. Fehérvár, meanwhile, missed the opportunity to close the gap to the top six.

FTC-Telekom Budapest recorded a 6–3 victory over HC TIWAG Innsbruck on Saturday, consolidating their position among the league’s top ten teams. The Hungarians made a highly efficient start and built a 3–1 lead in the opening period. FTC-Telekom remained the more efficient side in the second period as well. Despite registering fewer shots on goal, Fradi-Hockey extended their lead to 6–1 in the middle frame. Innsbruck raised their intensity in the final period and cut the deficit to 3–6, but were unable to threaten the hosts’ victory.
