Wukovits follows Loney to Salzburg

Following the signing of bet-at-home ICE Hockey League top scorer Ty Loney, EC Red Bull Salzburg announces the next signing of a crack from the spusu Vienna Capitals. Ali Wukovits, who played the last five seasons with the Caps and formed a forward duo with Loney last season, follows his teammate to Salzburg.

Ali Wukovits learned to play ice field hockey in Vienna and at the age of 15 was already part of the Austrian U20 league with the Junior Capitals. In 2014, the forward moved to the junior team of the Swedish top club Färjestad BK, where he gained experience in the Swedish U20 League for two years and returned to Vienna in 2016. Five years followed with the Vienna Capitals crowned with the title in 2017.

In total, Wukovits scored 33 goals and 93 assists in 264 league games and played his best professional season to date last season with 49 scorer points.

Layne Viveiros on the road to recovery
Layne Viveiros, who was loaned by the Red Bulls to the Augsburg Panthers (PENNY DEL) at the end of the season, is on the road to recovery. The 25-year-old Austro-Canadian injured his knee in mid-April and underwent surgery in Augsburg. Next weekend, the defender hopes to be able to leave the hospital. In Salzburg, Viveiros, who has played for the Red Bulls since 2015, wants to start rehabilitation immediately.
