Zagreb and Szekesfehervar try to stay in touch with the Top 6

On Tuesday (19:15) KHL Medvescak Zagreb (7) welcomes Fehervar AV19 (10) in Dom Sportova. The two teams try to stay in touch with the Top 6.  EC VSV extended the contract with defenseman Ryan Glenn until the end of the 2018/19-season.

>On Tuesday KHL Medvescak Zagreb will fight for their first points in December against Fehervar AV19. The Croatians lost so far all three games this month, all in all the Bears are without a win for four games. Lately Tyler Morley and Company also had big problems to score. In their last four games the Bears scored just one goal; in the meantime the Bears did not score for 141 minutes…
>Headcoach Hannu Järvenpää had a perfect comeback at Fehervar AV19 on Saturday. With the Fin back behind the bench, the Devils beat the Dornbirn Bulldogs 2:1. On Tuesday the Devils visit Zagreb now. With another success the Hungarians could overtake place 9 and would stay in touch with the Top 6. Szekesfehervar is ranked on place 10 in this moment, eight points behind place 6. KHL Medvescak Zagreb is seventh. The Bears miss four points for a Top 6 spot, which would mean the direct Playoff-Qualification after 44 rounds.
>>The two teams will face for the third time this season on Tuesday at Zagreb. In the first two meetings the road-team left the ice as the winner:  Fehervar AV19 was successful at Zagreb on September 10th 2017 with 4:3 after Overtime, while KHL Medvescak Zagreb won in Hungary on November 24th 2017 with 4:0. In both games the successful club made exactly four goals. All in all the last four clashes were won by the guests. Last time the Croatians won at home (3:0) against Fehervar AV19 was on December 9th 2012 or 1.828 days ago.
>>Bear Tero Koskiranta is the only player, who scored so far in both season-meetings between KHL Medvescak Zagreb and Fehervar AV19 , totally the Fin scored already three goals for the Bears against the Hungarian club.
>>Both teams had problems to score and in Power Play so far this season. The Hungarians scored the fewest number of goals (53), Zagreb (70). Besides both teams could not convince in Powerplay.
