EK Zeller Eisbären vs. EC Bregenzerwald 6:3
Both teams had self confidence after Saturday's wins but they slowly started into the game. Halfway through the first Jussi Tapio opened the scoring. When the hosts received a penalty late in the first, Juuso Mörsky tied it at one. The hosts came out hard for the middle frame and Florian Dinhopel restored their lead. Zell am See pressed for a third goal but the visitors scored out of nothing when Julian Zwerger equalized again. Then, Bregenzerwald could not use a 5 on 3 power play. Late in the second they had to pay the bill. Patr Vala deflected a Widen shot for another Zell am See lead and even before the second intermission the veteran added his second of the night for a 4:2 score. The hosts stayed focused and captain Franz Wilfan, who scored a shorthanded marker, and Christoph Herzog made it 6:2. With four minutes to go Christian Ban pulled one back but it was not enough to come back again. Zell am See also won their fifth game this season.

HC Neumarkt Riwega - HK Olimpija Ljubljana 2:3
Ljubljana found the third consecutive victory while Neumarkt was still defeated for the fourth time in AHL as they remained at zero points in the stadings. The game immediately was intense and very balanced. Neumarkt created more dangers when approaching the opposing goalkeeper who saved the result. During the final time of the perido Ljubljana hit the post. In the middle Ljubljana scored just 39 seconds after Neumarkt lost the puck in his defense. The guests kept the advantage during the second period which was without any surprise. The beginning of the third time was equal to the beginning of the second. Ljubljana doubled with Matjc Kralj after just 18 seconds of play. During the third period there was a reaction of the Wild Geese. Ondrej Nedved scored the first goal of the home team. Then there was the draw of Kamil Brebanec (54.) after a perfect assist Martin Graf in powerplay. The two teams didn’t content themselves as they played with their open game. Andrej Hebar scored in the last minutes (56.) in the counterattack with the new and definitive advantage of the Slovenes (3:2).
