After 20 games, EK Die Zeller Eisbären are top of the table (43 points), followed by Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel (39) and defending champions Rittner Buam SkyAlps (38). League newcomers KHL Sisak currently hold the important fifth place, which entitles them to participate in the Master Round and thus a fixed playoff ticket. However, the table remains extremely tight: there are just eleven points between fifth-placed Sisak and bottom-placed HC Gherdeina valgardena.it, meaning that a number of changes are still possible in the remaining games.

League leaders Zell am See with longest winning streak to date
After a mixed start to the season, with three defeats from the first five games, Zell am See is now virtually unstoppable. The Salzburgers have won 13 of their last 15 games since then and remained unbeaten in seven games in a row between October 10 and 29 - the longest winning streak of the current season so far. Last year's semi-finalists Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan are close behind, in terms of winning streak. Although the South Tyroleans got off to a weak start to the season with eleven defeats from their first 14 matches and are currently only in ninth place, they have won all of their last five games.

Ritten forward Szypula is at the top in the scoring charts
Ethan Szypula has stood out in the scoring charts so far. The Ritten Buam SkyAlps forward leads the way with 39 points. The 29-year-old has scored in 19 of 20 games so far. Only in the 1:2/SO defeat against Zell am See the Canadian failed to get on the scoreboard. His point-scoring streak was thus an impressive 18 games. Daniels Murnieks of the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers has also scored in 18 games in a row. The 22-year-old Latvian is in second place on the scoring charts with 35 points. Bruno Idzan of league newcomer KHL Sisak is at the top in the goalscoring charts. However, the 18-year-old Croatian will no longer play for Sisak for the rest of the season, but for the Lincoln Stars in the USHL, as the club announced on Thursday morning. Christopher Schutz from Kitzbühel follows in second place of the goalscoring list with 15 goals.

Zell am See and Sisak are spectator magnets
As in previous years, Zell am See is the spectator magnet of the Alps Hockey League. The team from Pingau welcomes an average of 1.788 fans per game in the KE KELIT Arena. They are followed by league newcomers Sisak in second place. The Croatians attract 1.374 spectators per match. A total of 21 matches this season have already been attended by more than 1.000 fans. Three matches have even broken the 2.000 spectator mark. The Salzburg derby between Zell am See and Red Bull Hockey Juniors was the best-attended game to date with 2.401 fans.
