The EK Zeller Eisbären celebrated against EC Kitzbühel the fourth win in the fourth game of qualification round and have the best cards for the playoff ticket. In the master round the FBI VEU Feldkirch repeated the derby coup of a few days ago and won against EHC Lustenau with 5:2.

EC Stadtwerke Kitzbühel – EK Zeller Eisbären 1:2 (0:1,0:1,1:0)
The EK Zeller Eisbären started with a lot of self-confidence, but had to recognize soon, that this will not be an easy win today. Kitzbühel disturbed the opening plays of Zell frequently and created a couple of chances for the home team. At the end of the first period the guests managed to take the lead. Frederik Widen scored after preparation of Dinhopel and Kolar. The second period was quite similar to the first one. Zell had to create their plays out of the defense and had to wait for mistakes of the hosts. In the mid of the game it was an open match, but then it was Zell again who increased the lead. Widen scored the goal of the night. In the last period Kitzbühel did everything to come back into the game, but they didn’t overcome goaly Dominik Frank. In the 60th minute the hosts managed to score the first goal of the night. But it was too late to come back into the game.

EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau – FBI VEU Feldkirch 2:5
Feldkirch repeated the success of a few days ago. A few days ago Feldkirch booked the first win in the master round. And it was again the derby where they were able to book three points. Lustenau started with high pressure but it was Feldkirch who succeeded with two goals in the 6th and the 7th minute. Still in the first period Lustenau narrowed the gap, Philip Winzing scored for the 1:2. In the second period Lustenau did everything for the tie, but didn’t succeed . Then came the minutes of Daniel Fekete who striked two times. In the last period both teams played on an even level. Three minutes before the end of the game Martin Cipulis scored the second goal for his team. But only moments later Martin Mairitsch created the result of 5:2. It was the second win of Feldkirch in the master round.
