The HC Orli Znojmo won against the Dornbirn Bulldogs and booked the sevenths ticket for the playoffs. Znojmo already set the basis for the success in the first period, taking a 3:0 lead. But also Dornbirn had good chances in the first perod but didn't manage to convert. The Czechs kept on moving forward and acted much more efficient. In the second period both teams scored one goal each. In the final 20 minutes the Czechs took full control and celebrated an 8:1 win. Eric Nemec scored three times.

With the win of Znojmo, the Czechs provided valuable support to the Black Wings who got the eighth and last playoff spot despite of losing against HC TWK Innsbruck. The sharks played with out any pressure, as the playoffs were already out of reach before the game. Innsbruck celebrated a 5:1 success. Innsbruck opened the game with two powerplay goals in the first period. Three more goals in the second period brought the early decision. The Black Wings lacked of converting their chances and couldn't compete with the scoring efficienty of the sharks. Dragan Umicevic prohibited the shutout and scored the 1:5 for Linz.

After a clear 4:1 road win against EC-KAC the spusu Vienna Capitals remain unbeaten in the pick round. With Erste Bank Eishockey Liga top-scorer Peter Schneider having for the fourth time two points (1G/1A) the guests booked their sixth consecutive win on the road. Captain Andreas Nödl opened the scoring for Vienna around halfway through the first. After a penalty against Steven Strong, Peter Schneider doubled up on Capital’s first powerplay less than three minutes later. With two more goals of Riley Holzapfel and Chris DeSousa on powerplay later in the second, the leader made the preliminary decision. After Strong pulled one back for the EC-KAC, the hosts became more offensive in the final period of the second. But the game remained goalless until the end without big chances on both ends.

Also the Moser Medical Graz99ers celebrated a win and pinned down the second place after the pick-round in the worst case. The 99ers still have the theoretical possibility to go as number one into the playoffs. It was already the third consecutive win of Graz against the Red Bulls. Even if the last win of the 99ers in Salzburg was back in November 2012. The 99ers took the lead in the 15ths minute after a goal of Lukas Kainz. John Hughes succeded with the equalizer in the second in powerplay. Kevin Moderer found the decision in the final period and created the 3:1 result.

After a huge comeback Fehervar AV19 celebrated its first home win in the pick round in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. The Hungarians snatched up a 4:2 victory against HCB Südtirol Alperia. The foxes suffered their straight road defeat. After both teams wasted early powerplays, the guests got the lead with Riley Brace scoring five on four. Not even two minutes later Daniel Catenacci doubled up for the reigning champion. But Fehervar responded right at the beginning of the second with Tuomas Vänttinen’s first goal in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. Soon later, Arttu Luttinen realized the equalizer for the hosts. The game remained goalless until the last three minutes with some good chances on both ends. Late in the third Jonathan Harty converted a rebound and gave the hosts their first lead in the game. After Bolzano pulled its goalie, Bence Stipsicz rounded off the score with an empty-netter.
