Znojmo loses first of two games in Slovaki

HC Orli Znojmo suffered a defeat at the start of its two-game preseason activity in Slovakia. The returnee to the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League lost to MHK 32 Liptovský Mikuláš 3:5. The Czechs conclude their preseason with a game against HC Banska Bystrica on Wednesday.

HC Orli Znojmo started without newcomer Josh Brittain - and was already trailing 0:2 after nine minutes. Both goals were scored shorthanded. In the second period, the "Adler" struck back on PP too: Filip Ahl (21.) and Tomas Svoboda (40.) scored. In the third period Anthony Luciani made up for another deficit. The decision against Znojmo was made 3,5 minutes left, again they had to concede a goal shorthanded. The final score of 3:5 from the ICE team's point of view came on Empty-Net.
