Znojmo signs five young forwards

HC Orli Znojmo announced the signing of the young Czech forwards Tomas Guman, Radim Matus, Marek Racuk, Adam Raska and Erik Nemec.

To the best known offensive players Colton Yellow Horn, Tomáš Plíhal, David Bartoš, Marek Špaček, Patrik Novák, Radek Číp, Štěpán Csamangó, Jiří Beroun and allrounder Jan Lattner HC Orli Znojmo added for the 2017/18-season with Tomas Guman, Radim Matus, Marek Racuk, Adam Raska and Erik Nemec five young Czechs.
 
Erik Nemec switches from HC Vitkovice to Znojmo. At the age of 23 years the forward has played already 174 games in Czechs Extraliga for the „Steelers“ and scored there 41 points (20G/21A). Besides the young Czech played for the Extraliga-club already in the Champions Hockey League and scored also there.
 
Adam Raska played 2014 with HC Kometa Bruno already in the finals in Czech Republic. Last season the 22-years old forward was in action for four teams, inter alia for Champion HC Kometa Brno and Pirati Chomutov in the Extraliga. In totally 92 Extraliga-games the Center made nine points (3G/6A) so far.
 
Marek Racuk is a strong player. The forward also switches from Chomutov to Znojmo. For the „Pirates“ he made between 2012 and 2017 124 Extraliga-games, scoring 18 points. 2014 the 24 years old Center followed the club also into the 2nd league and promoted with the „Pirati“ in the following season.
 
Radim Matus started his career at HC Trinec and made it with his home-club 2015 already into the Finals. Besides he played with the Extraliga-club 2014/15 and 2015/16 already in the Champions Hockey League. Past season the 23-years old forward was loan, he played twelve games for HC Karlovy Vary in Czechs Extraliga, where he scored one Assist, and 25 games for LHK Jestřábi Prostějov on the second highest level in Czech Republic, where he made another 14 points (4G/10A).
 
A big talent is Tomas Guman. The Youngster is Czech Under-19-National-Team-player. This year the 19-years old forward won the title with HC Ceske Budejovice on the second highest level in Czech Republic. He played for the youth teams of HC Davos (from 2013 until 2015), Asplöven and Lulea (2016/17).
 
Besides the youngsters Vladimir Oscadal and Jan Bulin, who have shown their talent already in the Erste Bank Young Stars League, will practice with the first team and have the chance to get into the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga roster. The summer practice starts at Znojmo already in one week.
